The Role
Very enjoyable place to be, everyone is friendly and welcoming. You also get several social events which makes thing fun!
Lots of the work delegated is interesting and relevant to the service line you are in meaning a broad understanding of the 'bigger picture' which is a great thing. Feedback is collated at the end of your internship so it is clear to see how much you are valued.
You have a buddy to look after you, a counselor for career advice and many like minded people around you too which always help!
It can be slightly slow to start but as soon as you meet some new people and begin asking for work there is plenty to do.
All of the work you do will be reviewed more than once, however the responsibility is on you to provide work of a high standard, there's lots of support so this is usually fine!
There are so many post-grad qualifications EY offer whilst on the grad scheme, they are different for each service line. There are also dial in sessions, lunch and learns, and web based learning courses too.
The Company
Always lively and upbeat, the focus was on the work at hand but people are the focus and reputation of EY, and they definitely lived up to this.
The induction days, socials, buddy's, counselor's and IT training make you prepared and organised. You know lots about what you will be doing before you start and there is always someone to ask if unsure.
On the internship, training is fairly limited to 'on the job' and web based learning. However the grad course offers a huge amount.
Company Parties/Events
I was offered a job, EY look to recruit their grads from interns.
The Culture
Lots of social events within teams and with other interns.
London is not cheap!
Expensive but always great.
Lots of different societies and sports teams to get involved in. Also all interns did a CSR day for the community.
