The Role
Got to work on a variety of jobs with a varied selection of clients.
Everyone is extremely helpful and willing to take the time to answer any questions you have
Management are always around to advise and help you
Always had a decent workload out at clients. In the office I did have to seek out work to do at times but this was no problem. Although busy was never overworked or forced to stay late.
Was allowed to input at all stages of the audit. Was trusted to produce the same work as trainees and meet with clients in person.
I study Economics so the increased knowledge in finance and of certain markets will be very useful.
The Company
Varied. I spent most of my time out at different clients each week with different teams so the the atmosphere was dependent on who you were working with and the atmosphere in the clients office. At the main office the open plan helped create a very friendly atmosphere.
A week of training with all of the interns nationally was organised very well and then I was placed on jobs for the remainder of my internship. Concluded with all of the interns meeting up again for a couple of days.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Was offered a graduate job
The Culture
Could be difficult to get to know colleagues as very little time spent in the office and each week I was working with different teams. However there was a very good social scene with other interns at my office.
