The Role
I was placed on-site for a Crossrail project. Was really enjoyable and the learning curve was very steep.
Was given small but important responsibilities on site such as setting out the pile positions, checking reinforcement cages etc. So was valued well
They were really patient and friendly with me and answered all my questions.
Depended on Siteworks. Was not busy throughout but somedays were busier than others.
Was manageable enough to learn. Plus was always under supervision so anything mistake was rectified quickly.
Definitely professionalism and project management skills should help me for my remaining two years of study.
The Company
Was relaxed, friendly and professional.
Very well organised right from the induction day to setting objectives and reviews with line manager.
Not so much on personal training as I was only there for 2 months
Very appealing especially with the great work culture embedded within the company
The Culture
Yes there were lot of socials weekly or monthly
Was in London so a bit expensive
