The Role
The work itself was great - you were given a lot of exposure from the start. However, the hours were a bit crazy, meaning that we worked around the clock most days. This being said, I cannot think of any other job where you get to deal with this many challenges on a daily basis from the very begining. In fact, had it not been for the long hours, I would probably rate this the best job ever.
After 10 weeks, I certainly felt a lot more comfortable working with my colleagues. However, I bonded a lot more with other interns - after all, they were in the exact same situation as me.
I trust that I would have had excellent support if I had needed it - luckily, everything flowed nicely for me.
Maybe a bit too busy. Given that we were interns, a lot of the late-night work fell on our shoulders. However, this was great in the sense that I learnt a lot within the short time frame of the internship. Furthermore, I would definitely prefer being busy to being bored.
I felt a progression as time went by. My colleagues trusted me with my work a lot more in the end and also encouraged me to take on tasks that involve much more responsibility.
Not sure yet - but I am sure that my powerpoint presentations will be a lot better this year. I am now much more aware of the small details that I used to oversee and also feel that many skills I have gained will be transferable to other areas of my life.
The Company
Trust me - it was quite fun working in my team!
They ran it smoothly - no complaints.
From HR to colleagues, everyone spent time making sure that I fitted in, learnt as much as I could and would leave the internship wanting to come back for more.

Company Parties/Events
I did! Am very glad and we will see what I decide to do with this offer.
The Culture
Absolutely. I will definitely keep in touch with a good bunch of interns. We lived together for 10 weeks and connected on a lot of different levels! It's great meeting people with all sorts of backgrounds and nationalities who share a common interest.
Cheap? This was London!! Super expensive, but that would not stop us from going out every Friday and or Saturday!
Loved it!
We were investment bankers, so there was only one day we could leave the office - charity day. However we also had lots of half day events which we all welcomed warmly!
