  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The work was interesting and the people were great

  • Barely received any feedback.

  • Some quiet moments, but usually just enough to keep me occupied.

  • Bit tricky, the work on my desk required a lot of knowledge but I was set individual tasks.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone was always pretty chirpy. A laugh or two. When things were very busy people did not get too stressed, they just got on with it, so you never felt uncomfortable.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • We had an orientation week, events throughout as well as tutorials. Managed very well by HR.

  • As above the orientation week and then tutorials throughout. Also just learnt so much on the desk in terms of personal training and development.

  • Subsidised/Company Gym

  • As of yet not sure.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • In other departments yes, but in mine we did not go out together. However, everyone was lovely.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I was fortunate enough to live with my sisters, so in terms of rent not sure. Expensive around the building.

  • Not sure.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • If run by the bank no, but it was just an internship so not really opportunity to get heavily involved.
