The Role
The internship was great- very well put together, with a great mix of informative talks, time spent at desks and good social activities.
Everyone within the firm was very welcoming and friendly.
Sitting with a trainer made it very easy to ask questions where I didn't know what to do. Everyone was very happy to answer my queries throughout the scheme.
We were kept busy with work set by our trainers and also preparation for a client pitch presentation.
I feel as though we were given a suitable amount of responsibility. Everything we did was checked over before being sent out of the firm, but we were carrying out actual valuable activities.
There was a good programme of talks and workshops to develop skills such as negotiating and delivering pitches which should come in handy in the future.
The Company
The office was very friendly - you could tell that everyone works very hard, but also had a good time.
Very well organised.
The firm puts a lot of effort into running the scheme, and I think it pays off.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
They said there were enough places available for them to give everyone a training contract if they were good enough. This meant there was no competition between the placement students, everyone was just trying to be the best they could be.
The Culture
Great social scene- the rooftop bar is particularly good.
Expensive, but as would be expected in London.
Hipster.
There were a lot of social activities planned.
