  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed my internship with Atkins, there was a friendly atmosphere and I had challenging work.

    • Very - colleagues were very good at getting me involved with projects and providing feedback on my work.

    • Given appropriate support and guidance, and by other colleagues.

    • Generally had a good but not overwhelming amount of work to do, but work flow varied.

    • Was given solo tasks to complete, and expected to e.g. conduct phone interviews with external organisations.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The work I was involved in was very relevant to my studies/interests, and in particular the quantitative and IT skills I developed will be useful.

    • Generally chatty but otherwise quiet.

    • Was given fairly free reign and responsibility, which allows personal skills development. Also able to learn through company events/talks.

    • Good, but not extensive.
