The Role
Hours are long but it is a good experience
You are valued and most the people who I worked with were nice. Like everywhere there will be people you dont get on with.
Support is there and they will chase you up if youre not doing something right. Best thing to do is to ask.
Very busy for the majority of the day. At the airport there was always something that needed doing.
You are given a lot of responsibility and you have power to make important decisions e.g. if a customer isn't happy you can refund up to 3 days rental without confirming this with your manager.
They will help with the degree as managing time and amount of time that I can work is now increased. In terms of beyond it will look very good and shows how hard I have worked. Recommend for a summer.
The Company
Employees are very happy most the time and there is fun to have
Organised. Training week was very good
As a summer intern there wasnt a great deal of investment in my development but you do the possibilities for after.
I may come back to ERAC, it is a great company with opportunities
The Culture
Heard of a previous social but nothing organised whilst I was there. Hard with the hours of the airport maybe but did think a bit more may be happening.
commuting in from the south to gatwick wasnt cheap but is do able with trains and national expresses
