The Role
The most enjoyable aspect of my internship was having access to such a huge corporation. I've never worked in a firm of this size before, so learning to understand how it all fits together was both challenging and rewarding
My team made me feel completely at home, and I never experienced inter-team office politics. Of course, I expected it at a wider level, but that's to be expected.
As for the CDP programme, I had one of the best managers available. He was ready weeks before my joining date, and had explained my objectives of the 10 weeks before I had even stepped through the front door.
Honestly, not busy at all.
In my first few weeks I was responsible for assigning training to 2000 employees, but I haven't really had much opportunity to display initiative or leadership outside of that.
I have developed mostly interpersonal skills. My degree is very technical, and my role was almost completely nontechnical.
The Company
Quiet. Lots of white, middle aged men.
Sketchy in some placed, I wish I knew I was being placed in the IT of the company before I joined.
A fair bit, lots of senior speaker talks, which covered every intern on the planet. Not TOO much invested in teaching me about the business, since I was placed in IT.

I would have to be in a completely different role in a different city to consider coming back.
The Culture
Yes, lots of interns.
Slightly more expensive than where I live
People were going out every night, so never a dull one.
Pretty much all of them organised by fellow interns.
