The Role
ARM is a great place to work and my project was interesting.
Sometimes people were appreciative of my work, but occasionally my contributions were ignored.
Help was available from colleagues when required.
I had lots to do, including extra objectives if I finished early. It wasn't too stressful, however.
I was able to write code as I wished (i.e. design it how I wanted). However, ability to change other parts of the project was limited.
While not particularly relevant to my degree, the some of the skills involved (Linux kernel drivers) would be useful to a future employer.
The Company
Quiet but positive and friendly.
HR are very organised and did a great job of organising all the placements.
I already had most of the necessary skills so no training was required.

I would consider working for them after graduating, and have been contacted about this.
The Culture
There was a large number of other interns there so quite a few social opportunities.
I was able to live at home so not too bad.
Cambridge is not renowned for its night life.
Yes, including pub trips with other interns, and paid-for entry for the London to Cambridge charity bike ride.
