The Role
Loved it! Great, incredibly positive and supportive working environement. Everyone is willing to help one and other and the general attitude of the office is fantastic.
At L'Oreal interns are not treated like average 'interns'. My ideas were heard and respected, if ever I had an idea to improve a mechanism or do things a different way, my colleagues were always willing to listen.
At L'Oreal it is expected that you take ownership and lead your own projects - I did feel supported by my manager but perhaps not as much as in other internships.
Very busy, I managed a number of projects during a short time. This was more out of choice, I think the harder you work and the more you are willing to give, the more work you will get. This, I feel, is important especially when you are interning, as you need to learn as much as possible whilst you have the opportunity!
I was given full responsiblilty for a number of projects. This is what made my internship so enjoyable. Initially, I was thrown in at the deep end but soon swam!
I would say that I have improved the ability to manage my own projects and developed my analytical. I also feel that my ability to manage stress has improved. Excellent work experience.
