The Role
The placement was interesting and organised to maximise my learning.
Friendly and respectful.
Support was always available.
There was a good balance of site visits, presentations and individual work to keep my brain stimulated.
My placement was only 8 weeks and so it is too short a time to take on large responsibilities.
This was a perfect placement to refresh my knowledge for the 4th year of my degree and gain skills not available at university.
The Company
Welcoming environment with social activities to join.
Reasonably good but could have been pushed a little harder.
The placement was organised with the sole purpose of giving the placement students knowledge and experience.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Good.
The Culture
It is a small section of the company but there was still enough arranged activities.
The duration of the placement was short (8 weeks) and so a lease on reasonably prices accommodation was not possible. The accommodation was very expensive for the area per week (£117).
Enough for all individuals.
5 a side football, watching football, company organised newnet events and meals.
