The Role
I enjoyed it, although I found that at times I did not have enough work to do.
I felt valued by everyone in the office and everyone was very nice and friendly.
I felt I was given support, however sometimes a little more support would have been appreciated.
I was not busy enough for enough of the time I was there.
I felt I was not given enough responsibility.
I think I have learnt valuable workplace skills that will come in use for when I get a real job.
The Company
Everyone was nice and friendly and welcoming.
I felt at times like I didn't have enough to do, especially in the first few weeks, so I feel it could have been better organised as they knew I was coming and there were quite a few placement students too.
I didn't do any specialist training whilst there.
Company Parties/Events
It is a well recognised company and one which I feel could be good to work for if you are in the correct department.
The Culture
The atmosphere amongst placement students was excellent - however not a lot of interaction with the graduates (it was a bit us and them at times).
Cost of living was quite high. I was only 40mins (ish) from London though which was good for socialising.
There are a few pubs etc.
There was an organised graduate event which was good and a team building event one afternoon which was good to have the opportunity to get involved with.
