The Role
Really enjoyed my stay, work was fun, learned a lot.
Everybody was helpful and welcoming
Clearly knew what needs to be done, had help if i struggled.
Always had something interesting and exciting to do everyday which i looked forward to. Finished everything just in the last week
Had my own project of moderate significance to the team, was responsible for it and was given a lot of freedom to work with.
Did teach me skills uni covers poorly, such as web development. Did make me interested in the area and will impact my 4th year uni subject choices
The Company
Work was exciting, the team had meetings, townhalls, scrums and all sorts of daily interaction just to vary it up, the project itself was comprised of few different components covering various development areas keeping me interested
Some speaker events started getting boring and felt like too much, but that's for the most part it. The laptop i had to work with was a bit slow, but that was just in my case and not the hr's fault
I was asked which areas i was interested in working with/learning so i could use that in my project. E.g. after the core of the project was done my manager allowed me to make a web interface for the application in order for me to learn web development

Look forward to entering the graduate program. They're offering a lot of places and they are prioritising interns, so there's a good chance to get on it. And from there on it's pretty much a full time job
The Culture
Yes, the interns were all friendly and the events did help us all to become friends. There's nothing as good for making friendships as digging a ditch together for charity (csr event)
Same as everywhere, city centre. We did have a good relationship amongst interns so there were plenty of opportunities to socialise. After work going to the closest pub for... tea...
Same as everywhere, although i'm not much into the nightlife myself. The city's culture is not perfect when it comes to that...
We had arranged events, corporate social responsibility, networking events, breakfasts, evening events, etc
