The Role
I really enjoyed my placement at M&G investments, I enjoyed the culture, location, and the people I worked with.
Very valued, I was given real tasks that had actual business value.
I attended the training seminars in finance they offered to get myself up to speed with the industry, as well as being given many opportunities for growth and development.
I started out slowly, and then became busier the more I learnt and the more I became involved with different aspects of the company.
A fair amount, not to much as to be daunting for someone new to the industry, but enough so that I got real satisfaction from my tasks.
I have learnt more in the past year than I did in my first two years of Uni, both technically and professionally.
The Company
Relaxed and busy at the same time. I was given the freedom to set my own pace and take initiative in the things I was interested in. The culture is one of the top perks of working at M&G.
Very well organised, they have many placements, interns, grads etc so they have a set structure for each.
I was given financial training as well as professional training. You are given training as your role requires it.

The Culture
Yes, there are quite a few work parties, and HR set up quite a few events for the interns and placements to get to know each other as well as the company.
Quite high, I lived in central London.
Very good, as the offices are very central as so close to 100's of bars and clubs.
Yes, there was always someting to do.
