The Role
It's a pretty easy internship, started off with admin jobs but soon you will take up responsibilities.
They all treat me like i m their daughter or sister. Lots of support. Great place to work.
Feedback is always given. Great support.
sometime I found myself got nothing to do, even if I asked all of my colleagues if they have something for me to do they struggled as there was nothing I can do. But at Month End, you can get very busy. so it is just to get the right balance really.
Not much responsibiliy at the beginnig, but soon you will be given some and a lot towards the end of year.
I can now walk in an interview for a Finance Job and able to tell them how a finance department is running with confidence.
The Company
sometime there is conflict between colleagues, but most work place has.
I was their first placement student so there was not really a clear training plan like bigger companies.
I have always allowed to go on traning courses and for free that was provided by the NHS.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
I will not be getting a job within the organisation, but if i want to apply to their graduate scheme nationwide, I will have and advange over other candidates.
The Culture
We always go to town shopping during lunch, whenever there is someone's birthday or special occation, we go out for lunch or have sweets and cakse in office.
they offered student accommodation and it cost like nothing!! and since its not a city, only a town, everything is cheaper.
I have never been out at night this year, but since there is a university, there were lots of clubs in town and Milton Keynes is just half an hour away.
Cinema, Gym, cricket team, football team, rugby team, golf....anything you named they have it!
