The Role
The internship was very useful. I learned a lot both from a purely theoretical standpoint as well as for existing best practices. There were a lot of employees who are experts in their respective field of work and have valuable advice.
During the internship quite a few of the employees do not bother to get to know interns because they are short-term employees. However during the final presentation I've had people talking to me about it who were very fascinated by my achievements. It really depends on the team I guess.
Both management and senior management will always try and help out. Sometimes they are quite busy but as long as you don't ask nonsensical questions they will help out.
There were both periods of inactivity and periods where it would be necessary to stay after hours
I genuinely felt that the project I was given played a role in the production environment.
To my studies - not so much. But to my future practical skills and knowledge - quite a bit.
The Company
Quite busy and lively. The office does strike as a busy place. Very strict and professional. Still people try to be friendly and relax with jokes and random activities.
Depends on the manager. Mine was exceptional at organising me.
There are plenty of training sessions and talks which can be attended for free and will be quite open in terms of participation.

Healthcare/Dental
Definitely great. I do consider them one of the best employers in London.
The Culture
There was definitely a good atmosphere between colleges. Many of them are quite open to after work activities.
Quite high. Central London can be expensive. Nevertheless commuting is quite easy to central places and the subsidised canteen plays a good role.
I would not go to Canary Wharf for a night out.e
After work parties and drinks are quite common between colleges. There wasn't much else other than that.
