The Role
Very good experience and exposure to markets. Very demanding.
This depended heavily on the desk you rotated on. Overall colleagues respected and helped us a lot in everything we attempted.
Support and guidance was consistently provided, naturally or when asked for
Depended on the desk, overall busy, always something to do
I was given a substantial amount of responsibility early on and saw the repercussions of my actions across the the desk/floor/firm.
This will help me enormously for my degree and career progression
The Company
Very pleasant and fun. Professional yet relaxed
Very well organised, plenty of rotations, exposure, events and socials.
The firm invested a lot for us to learn about various aspects of the industry in a comprehensive and easy fashion
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Good , RBS is a challenging place to start ones career.
The Culture
Yes, the intern crowd was exceptionally fun
Fairly expensive, then again, we could afford it.
Very good.
A decent amount , could be more, no massive sports organised within the firm.
