The Role
People is the greatest asset here and what makes the difference in comparison withother banks
The job is volatile by nature, but people make sure you have always something to work on. Then obvioulsy times can get busy
The learning curve is very sharp. Also rotating in two desks I ended up learning even more than what you would usually learn in a single desk placement
The Company
It depends on the team you join. In my case both interns and other colleagues were great fun
Just some delays with the reviews and the presentation. But overall as you would expect anywhere
We had the opportunity to join many networking event and have training with every dataprovider used by each of the two teams I joined. Also, pleople were really good at making sure you would understand processes and products. We had also many presentations from other desks. People are always happy to answer to questions you have, just find the right time and the right person who to address that specific question

Great. Many people are offered the opportunity to change team/city if that's what they want. Citi is the most global bank out there
The Culture
Great fun. You indirectly compete with each other but I did not really feel it
Having fun in the Wharf can be quite expensive, but you can also have beers on decent prices
No clubs in Canary Wharf, but to be honest all you need is bars. If you need to go out longer better you move city center
Great mid-summer event. Many networking events organised by HR
