The Role
I was stretched and given interesting challenges.
There is a good spirit of community at the company and in my team.
The Mentoring system means you always have someone to turn to if you are blocked on an issue.
I always had work to do, and was held to realistic targets.
I was given responsibility to develop a project from design to testing.
I have left university so not at all to the first question, and a reasonable amount to the second.
The Company
Friendly and welcoming.
Metaswitch run a well oiled internship machine, taking on large numbers every summer.
My manager and mentor had time allocated to help me, and the assigned tasks were designed to show me more of what work at the company is like.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Very - I have an offer and will almost certainly take it.
The Culture
There were regular intern events organised by interns.
Low.
You want to go to clubs? You are a disgrace of a person. Go back to pretending you will never hit 25.
There are company and employee organised sports and clubs of various kinds during lunch and after work.
