  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Good work, got to meet clients and contribute to projects

    • Very warm welcome by everyone in my team and beyond

    • Worked very closely with counsellor and had plenty of opportunity to bring anything up.

    • Some times quite busy with several tasks, other times I didn't have much to do.

    • I contributed to plenty of work that, while did get reviewed, was helpful for the team and client.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Good skills development in relationship building, networking, time management etc.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Everyone was working hard but also open to having a quick chat. Regular drinks after work etc.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • Given 'experience maps' so we knew what to expect. The induction was also very good and my counsellor knew what kind of things I had to get done over the internship.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Good 3-day induction at the start with hotel accommodation etc. 'Milestone' event at completion. All staff were happy to coach you in concepts you didn't understand.

    • Received an offer.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Regular meet ups for lunch and after-work drinks arranged.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Unsure how to compare since haven't really experienced any other city properly.

    • Plenty of places to go suiting all different tastes.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • Social responsibility day during induction. A few other departments had 'away days' during the internship which some of the other interns got to go on.
