  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed it a lot

  • I was given challenging work that required me to learn a lot

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I talked with my line manager every day and he gave me objectives I had to meet. Also the HR people supported the interns a lot by setting up talks, lunches, networking events etc.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • It was a good balance for an intern and especially compared to the markets and IB people, they looked super busy every waking hour, which wouldn't have suite me as well.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a "sideline" project that wasn't critical but helped the rest of my team work more efficiently.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Experience will look super good, opportunity to get a grad job and taught me about working hard on a regular basis which should help with my studies.

  • The HR intern/grad recruitment people organised everything very well!

  • Time to learn new technical skill (VBA), general IT system process and bsuiness oriented skills such as presentation and teamwork skills.

  • We all got to know people from a wide range of divisions

  • high, but there's always tesco and a pub can only be so expensive.

  • some organised things but not much, most were based around work or work time for interns.
