The Role
It was great!
All my team mates were very helpful. All of the people I came in contact with were very friendly.
They helped me whenever I got stuck but also allowed me to make decisions myself.
There was always time to have a chat with someone or have a proper lunch break.
I haven't worked on a critical project but having the opportunity to work on a complete piece of software that will be used by many traders for years to come was great.
I have learned plenty of new SE concepts and how things work in the real world.
The Company
Very relaxed and friendly.
Every event or meeting was announced well in advance and there was always someone to contact if we needed any help.
Plenty of trainings, however I feel these were just regulatory ones.
Healthcare/Dental
Really looking forward to their grad scheme!
The Culture
We went out a bunch of times.
Quite decent for the UK.
Didn't really care.
Company organised a Corporate Social Responsibility event, a CommonCake Games and quite a few other events that are sadly scheduled for after the end of the internship.
