  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was great!

  • All my team mates were very helpful. All of the people I came in contact with were very friendly.

  • They helped me whenever I got stuck but also allowed me to make decisions myself.

  • There was always time to have a chat with someone or have a proper lunch break.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I haven't worked on a critical project but having the opportunity to work on a complete piece of software that will be used by many traders for years to come was great.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learned plenty of new SE concepts and how things work in the real world.

  • Very relaxed and friendly.

  • Every event or meeting was announced well in advance and there was always someone to contact if we needed any help.

  • Plenty of trainings, however I feel these were just regulatory ones.

  • Really looking forward to their grad scheme!

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We went out a bunch of times.

  • Quite decent for the UK.

  • Didn't really care.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Company organised a Corporate Social Responsibility event, a CommonCake Games and quite a few other events that are sadly scheduled for after the end of the internship.
