The Role
I didn't enjoy being at BA at all. In fact, I left half way through to find a different placement.
Little. Was given data entry jobs and tasks that didn't challenge me at all.
As much as needed. I rarely needed support as I had very little to do. When I requested more responsibility my manager said they would consider it and never did.
Worked slowly as wanted to make jobs drag out so not overly busy.
Very little.
After completing my final year, I considered my placement to be a waste of time.
The Company
Corporate and stuffy.
Terrible. They ddin't seem to know why I was there and weren't really sure what to do with me.
They didn't invest at all other than my basic salary.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Not even considering it. Although they are always looking for people to fill roles in the sales department.
The Culture
This was the only good thing about the placement. We bonded through hate of everyone else.
Cost of living was low and there was quite a good nightlife.
It was good and you have links to london clubs if you get bored of the local scene.
None company organised, but plenty going on outside of work.
