  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • it was a brilliant working environment,

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • everybody was really lovely and welcoming and didnt make me feel like "just the intern" i wasn't used for tea making, the boss even used to make me a cuppa from time to time

    • always extremely helpful no matter what

    • sometimes there were times where id finished work and needed more but there was non available.

    • after a couple of week they really let me work on stuff without constantly checking on me

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • It made me realize what i want more, and how to go about getting incorporated/chartered

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • really run, lots of banter and the people were always friendly and sociable

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • as far as enrollment etc very seamless, however occasionally i was left at a bit of a lose end, especially on site it was sometimes unclear what I was actually suppose to be doing

    • In the office they taught me alot, answered all of my questions in full whenever i asked. they even sent me to train in health and safety

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?

    • I would love to work for atkins in the future, they really made me feel as though it was the beginning of a long career within the company and that they would be accommodation to my future career needs

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • there weren't any other people on the same placement as me however the apprentices were lovely

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • I didn't really go out where i worked, i tended to travel at weekends and see friends

    • i am unsure as i tended to go further a field

    • a couple of meals which were nice, and a summer event
