The Role
Challenging but interesting work
Very friendly and approachable colleagues, always happy to offer help and explain things
All 3 line managers were great
Always had work to do, but was given every opportunity to leave the desk and talk to others in the business
We were given responsibility for our own learning and to what extent we chose to explore other areas of the business and find new work
Incredibly useful - significantly better excel and VBA skills and a much improved knowledge of economics and markets
The Company
Very positive and lively - again, everyone was very approachable
Very well organised - excellent rotational element
Very good - could possibly use more formal training, but it's very important to spend as much time on the desk as possible because learning from the experiences and knowledge of others is much better than being taught in a classroom style environment
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Very good conversion rate - if you are suitable and diligent then you have a very good chance
The Culture
Everyone got along very well, regular drinks
Central London - very expensive, but to be expected and similar for many internships
Central London - excellent
I played 5-a-side with one of my desks twice and socialised with the teams on several occasions
