The Role
Really enjoyable.
Great environment, interesting people that clearly enjoy their work.
Patient with some no doubt daft questions, and quickly helpful with any issues I have had.
As busy as my ability allows my rate of work to be!
This is a hard rating to provide - is 10/10 "perfectly matched my reasonable expectation" or is it "I was running the show!" like it says? Obviously I am not "running the show", I don't think that's even a good endorsement if an intern is honestly running the show...
Learnt how to use some great (technical) tools that maybe I should have known before - but I do now, will certainly help me continually.
The Company
I think "Fun Never Stopped!" is another misleading tag for '10/10', but I'm going to use the rating to say "the atmosphere is great, and hard to imagine it better". Full-time employees seem to be excited by what they're working on, which is surely anyone's aim.
Really slick, ID, email/PC login, desk etc. all sorted on first day.
I've only been here for 10 weeks over Summer, so due to time and nature of the work not sure how well this applies. Personal trainers (freely) available at (also free) gym though. Something I *should* have taken advantage of..
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Again, rating doesn't seem to match the question - how "appealing" the "prospect" is has nothing to do with whether or not *they* (i.e. 'Got a Job With Them' rating tag) are interested! Answered for the former, I think it would be a great place to work.
The Culture
Pretty good, it is what you make of it as anywhere. ARM offered some amount towards social activity if anyone wanted to organise something. (Admittedly, I'm not sure if that happened. The offer was there!)
Pretty good coming from London. Surprisingly difficult to find accommodation though considering the number of students out of Cambridge for Summer (not all colleges offer accommodation for all years by any means).
Pretty bad and small coming from London. Doesn't really bother me to much, but if that's your thing your disappointment will vary depending where you're coming from...
Of course. There's literally "a world of opportunities". Daft question.
