The Role
Working at Enterprise for the last 3 months has been great. It's a very fast paced working environment, but with a very fun working ethos, it's home time before you know it. I was able to get an insight into every department at my branch, and with the guidance of the management team, was able to see my skills develop on a weekly basis. If you're prepared to work hard, and get rewarded for your hard work, I work definitely recommend Enterprise Rent-A-Car to anyone.
Once I had gotten the hang of the processes at Enterprise, I felt like I was adding real value to my branch. With regular one on ones with my Branch Manager and with regular development days, I felt very valued by my fellow colleagues.
Enterprise are focused on employee development and with working in a busy branch it is sometimes hard to commit the time to development. However, my managers really pushed me to develop my transferable skills where possible, and to complete all of the training literature to the best of my ability. This sometimes meant giving up my free time to complete one on one training, but as I said, if you are papered to work hard and put in the hours, you really get rewarded for it.
Extremely busy. It wasn't until I started working at Enterprise that I realized how many people rented cars. Its a very fast paced and busy working environment which does not stop from the word go. There is no time for clock watching or for twiddling thumbs, but the day fly's past so quickly that you don't even realize it's home time which is great
At Enterprise you are given a lot of autonomy. There is the freedom to ensure you deal with customer in your own way to ensure they receive excellent customer service. You are also given the responsibility to resolve difficult situation in the best way you see possible.
I have developed so many transferable skills which will benefit me with both university and further working positions in the future.
The Company
- lots of banter - very friendly environment - everyone ready to muck in and help out where possible
Extremely organised as you would expect for such a large company!!
As listed already, the company invest lots of time in you and focus on employee development and promotion.
Already offered a job for after university which is brilliant. Work hard, get rewarded!!
The Culture
Everyone has been to university and have lots in common. The guys at the branch where a great team to work with and was a great social environment.
