    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Great social scene, with around 70 interns in the building there was always something going on. Including events organised by our social secretary, events organised through the graduate recruitment team as well as social events we organised ourselves.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Naturally being in London it is more expensive than the rest of the country however I knew that when I decided to carry out a work placement in London. The L'Oreal head office is based in Hammersmith, West London so the living and socialising costs are lower than central London. There is also the benefit of not having to pay for travel costs into the city.

  • There are a lot of opportunities there are a varied of gyms in the area with corporate discount. As well as a staff party every last Thursday of the month. Additionally a variety of sports teams including Basketball, Football and Hockey.
