  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed all aspects of the 10 weeks I spent at RBS. From the CSR events, to the speaker sessions (presentations from senior representatives from different areas of the bank), to desk work - everything was great.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was given presentations and projects to work on throughout the internship and encouraged by my supervisors to talk to as many people as possible which helped with the easing in process.

  • I went through a very steep learning curve where I was learning about different parts of markets.

  • They will assist me hugely in my future career but won't contribute much towards my studies.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very friendly. Most people are willing to talk to you and will be more than happy to help you understand what they do. The atmosphere is professional but not sterile.

  • Events were planned well in advance and the internship as a whole was well organised.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

  • Company Parties/Events

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • The general feeling is that the business has undergone the majority of the restructuring that was planned and the employment prospects are good throughout Markets. This is finance though so prospects are never going to be amazing.

  • The interns went out most Fridays
