The Role
I had a great time during this internship programme, having learned more than I expected when I started the summer.
I felt very valued by my colleagues, who treated me like a feature team member.
Whenever I needed any help, my manager always pointed me in the right directions.
I believe there was a very good balance as I had time to think before I started solving a problem. Every day was quite challenging and I always had something to do. If I finished my job earlier, one of my colleagues would give me something to do.
I think I was given quite a lot of responsibility, especially when I had to interact with seniors in the company and started working on some new projects.
The skills developed at J.P.Morgan will certainly help me in my future career and some of the technical skills will be useful in my 3rd year at university.
The Company
The atmopshere was quite relaxed and everybody was focusing on their job.
The internship was very well organized. We had lots of networking events and useful contacts who helped us throughout the programme.
The firm helped me to understand the overall picture not only in my department, but in the company as a whole.

The Culture
Everyone was sociable and keen to learn from each other.
The area was quite expensive, but taking into consideration that London was the location, that is not very suprising.
The nightlife was very good, there are lots of pubs around and during the weekends, Shoredich is the place to go to.
There were some opportunities, such as the CSR day or joining some of the company's sports teams.
