The Role
The whole experience was wonderful. I actually enjoyed coming into work everyday and the work that I was doing gave me a great chance to improve and learn at pace which was exactly what I was looking for.
All of my colleagues were available whenever I needed to ask any questions or if I wasn't sure of something. All the contributions that I made were carefully taken on board which was great.
I was given all the support to succeed and learn. If I had any questions, my manager could answer them. It wasn't limited to my manager though as others around the office were always available if I needed a hand.
The balance was pretty good I think. The work that I was given stretched my abilities but not to the point where I was overwhelmed. It was a fantastic learning opportunity overall.
I was given work that full time employees would work on. This was a little unexpected as I was just new but I quickly learned on the job and my team mates brought me up to speed with anything I was unsure of. The responsibilities increased from here throughout the internship.
All the skills that I developed during the internship will greatly help me in the future. In particular I feel that I've improved my presentation skills quite a lot as there were frequent opportunities to present what I was working on to my manager and my team members.
The Company
I loved the atmosphere. It wasn't anything unexpected but it was a great place to work in. Quiet and relaxed would be the best way of describing it.
I feel that it was organised very well. There wasn't any point in the internship that I felt that things weren't going well or we unorganised. It was all quite a seamless experience.
They gave me all of the training that I needed to succeed in the role that I was given. It was made clear that if I needed further training then this was available too.

The Culture
I talked quite a lot with the other interns and I got on really well. Going out for drinks was a frequent thing and we went out for lunch pretty much every day together. I met some great people on this internship.
It was quite expensive but I expected it in London.
I went out most of the weekends of the internship. It was quite an enjoyable experience to go out with a few of the people I had met on the internship. The clubs are pretty good in the area that I was working.
We were all given the opportunity to socialise further on company organised events. These events were mostly dinners, but enjoyable nevertheless.
