The Role
Really great experience. Everyone in the office was helpful and I was given a good breadth of tasks to work on
My team were always happy to help and engage me in team meetings/projects
My days were mixed with really busy and some quieter, but if you wanted something else to do people would always try and find something. The beginning was slightly quiet while I learnt the roles and the project began.
Although my internship was not directly linked to my degree it was great to get work place experience.
The Company
Everyone in the office got along really well and even at busy times there was a happy atmosphere. As a newcomer everyone made an effort to get to know you and include you
Centrally the placement was set up very well and plenty of notice about events was given. Within my team, they were slightly unprepared as it was a busy time in the office.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
The Culture
Outside of the main derby site there is less social life and as there are less interns it is quieter
Wide choice depending in whether you were in the Center or travelled to the local towns
Lots of opportunities at main Derby and Bristol sites but at smaller sites there is much less/no activities outside of work
