  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I will always carry the skills and knowledge that I developed during my placement, most noticeably the ITIL foundation course which is also a part of my final year. This will allow me to have the knowledge already for the module.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • The future employment prospects are great but within the graduate scheme, I would say this isn't for me and it isn't where I wish to go in my career path. We was offered a fast track method which I turned down for the above reasons.

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The social life is one of the best things about my placement year. I was able to meet new people who helped me get the most out of my placement year. I was fortunate to attend events throughout the year with my colleagues which was fun.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Living in London wasn't cheap by any means. I was living in a low crime but costly area. IT was close to a train station and about 20 minutes walk from work & a tube station so the social aspect of things was great and easily accessible.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • In order to get a good night life, I had to venture out of my area and in to closer areas such as Clapham junction, However, I found myself going in to central London to get the most out of the night life.

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Living in the capital meant having activities to do was a daily thing. There was always something to do in London whether thats in the capital or surrounding areas.
