The Role
I really enjoyed the variety which i was able to involved in!
I felt vbalued to some extent, however it had to be earned, as the year went by, the more valued i felt.
There were one to ones, development sessions and guidance which i was able to be apart of.
The type of job i was carrying out, meant that it was very busy at certain times.
I was given a lot of responsibility, because i ran a few jobs in my department and implemented change.
I learnt lots of transferable skills to other types of industries, but I am mainly pleased with the amount of skills which are dedicated to my industry.
The Company
The office went through a divestment, so it did have a dip in moral. However the overall atmosphere in the office was good.
I had some problems at the start of the placement, however when i voiced my troubles, what i was doing day to day changed for the better.
As i said before, the company invested time with the students, we had one to ones, and development plans which got talked over.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
For people who like the products i worked with would love it, it is a very good organisation to work with.
The Culture
Yes, there were a few of us in the category, and we had lots of socials.
Because it was London it was much more expensive than what we were used to.
Not very good in the area we worked but we were 20 mins from the centre of London, so that was great.
Yes, football teams, and anything you could think of, and you could organise something yourself if you wanted.
