The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement at ProspectSoft, the whole experience beat all expectations! I am extremely grateful for all that the ProspectSoft placement scheme has provided me and I would recommend the scheme to anyone and everyone!
I felt valued by each and every colleague at ProspectSoft. The Managers are fantastic and were always there to help out with no matter what. I am so pleased that I was able to do my placement with a company that is so dedicated to getting the best out of their employees.
I had such great support from all the management team at ProspectSoft. All placement students have regular appraisals with their managers, where I was given guidance in helping me achieve the most from my placement year. I learnt so much from my colleagues at ProspectSoft because they were always so willing to give such great advice and guidance over the year.
Because the Marketing Department were given monthly targets, it meant that I had always something to work for! I also had such a varied role that I was never bored and was always learning new things.
It is truly remarkable the amount of responsibility that I was given. The management team have such great faith and trust in the placement students, that they aren't afraid in letting us get on and do our thing!
With the economic climate as it is, I honestly don't believe that I would have had a fighting chance in the graduate job market if I hadn't done a year out of university working at ProspectSoft. I learnt SO much this year, the knowledge that I have gained will be invaluable in helping my achieve my goals!
The Company
Although the Sales & Marketing Department have great work ethic, we also had a lot of fun! There was great office banter and there was never a day go by where I didn't have a good laugh!
The ProspectSoft Placement Scheme has been developed over many years and is so refined and well organised. The company also have a great relationship with my university, which made things very easy for me.
I attended lots of training sessions at ProspectSoft, and was always given the opportunity in my appraisals to ask for any training which would enable my to further develop my role. They have a development scheme in place especially for placement students, which meant that we were able to monitor our development over the year to ensure that we were moving forward.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
ProspectSoft has offered me a fantastic graduate job offer.
The Culture
There is a great social scene with ProspectSoft - we spent many nights after work at the local pub, going to the cinema, playing football and nights out in Oxford! I have made some friends for life at ProspectSoft, as everyone is so sociable and friendly!
Oxford Brookes University is very close to the ProspectSoft, which meant that I didn't have to move out of my university accommodation. The cost of living and socialising in Oxford can be quite expensive, but is such a beautiful place to live that it makes up for it!
Student nightlife in Oxford is so much fun and ProspectSoft is not too far away from London either!
Everyone at ProspectSoft is always keen in getting involved in activities outside of work. I arranged many fun things to do, which were always welcomed by the rest of the team!
