  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The placement was extremely enjoyable and I was given the opportunity to collaborate with internal and external teams which made it fun to go into work everyday!

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Over the year my team developed my skills and set me assignments based on my skills. This was very beneficial to the team to deliver on their objectives, but also my development.

  • I had a fantastic manager/team members who always remained supportive throughout the year.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was often very busy throughout the whole placement, but I wanted to get involved as much as I could. Therefore this didn't negatively impact my experience.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility as I continued to progress throughout the year. By the end of the placement year I had worked on/delivered 7 projects.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Working on a variety of projects and being assigned different roles will have a huge impact on my future. I have on the job experience in these roles and I also have formal qualifications to back up these credentials.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Atmosphere was very laid back and I felt like i was part of the team from day one.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The placement organisation was generally good, but my manager was very hands on throughout the process which helped me personally.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I had a huge amount of time invested in personal training. During my team I was responsible to maintain a personal development plan. Here I would list all of the work that was undertaken and things i wanted to get involved in - the majority was approved.

  • Mixed bag.

  • Outskirts of London is always pricier than other places, but if you're good with money its fine.

  • Its okay if you have the time / budget.
