The Role
The placement was extremely enjoyable and I was given the opportunity to collaborate with internal and external teams which made it fun to go into work everyday!
Over the year my team developed my skills and set me assignments based on my skills. This was very beneficial to the team to deliver on their objectives, but also my development.
I had a fantastic manager/team members who always remained supportive throughout the year.
I was often very busy throughout the whole placement, but I wanted to get involved as much as I could. Therefore this didn't negatively impact my experience.
I was given a lot of responsibility as I continued to progress throughout the year. By the end of the placement year I had worked on/delivered 7 projects.
Working on a variety of projects and being assigned different roles will have a huge impact on my future. I have on the job experience in these roles and I also have formal qualifications to back up these credentials.
The Company
Atmosphere was very laid back and I felt like i was part of the team from day one.
The placement organisation was generally good, but my manager was very hands on throughout the process which helped me personally.
I had a huge amount of time invested in personal training. During my team I was responsible to maintain a personal development plan. Here I would list all of the work that was undertaken and things i wanted to get involved in - the majority was approved.

The Culture
Mixed bag.
Outskirts of London is always pricier than other places, but if you're good with money its fine.
Its okay if you have the time / budget.
Got involved in a few things ran by the placement student team.
