The Role
Very much so!
The office was incredibly welcoming and I felt people made an effort to make sure I adjusting fine.
Everyone was approachable and helpful. Never felt that I couldn't ask a 'silly' question.
Always had stuff to do, it was more the variability that was lacking.
It definitely grew as the placement went on. In the later stages of the summer I started to get more insight on how projects were carried out and started to help more on submissions.
Greatly, felt like I've learnt a lot about time management and organisation in the placement.
The Company
People are great, got on with everyone.
Very attentive at the start of the placement helping me settle in - which I was extremely grateful for. They had a plan of what projects I would be working on.
Company Parties/Events
Hopefully good, fingers crossed I'll be getting the summer placement next year!
The Culture
Yes, graduates have a little lunch crew. Only problem it being summer there are a lot people on leave. So there were some days where the office felt very quiet.
Fairly cheap
Haven't really been out in York. But going out for my last day, so hopefully good!
There were some cricket events flying about but I think this could and should expand.
