The Role
My internship was very enjoyable. I started the internship skeptical, but my mind soon changed as the exciting people and work there kept me occupied. The work that I was given was actually surprisingly interesting.
Everyone I met on the job was friendly and didn't hesitate to help me out when I asked them to. I grew to become very close to them and made some good friends.
I was often given guidance from many of my superiors at the job on a variety of things, ranging from better ways to do the job to what to do later in life. I could talk to anyone in the office to ask for help.
I felt that I was very busy. I had to do challenging work everyday, but I enjoyed it quite a lot and it didn't really stress me that much that there was so much to do.
As my placement neared its end, I began to have more and more responsibility as the team recognised my potential. This gradual increase was exactly what I was looking for when I started the internship.
I feel as if my presentation skills have improved dramatically, as presenting in front of a group of people was not something I could usually do well, but now I can easily do so. An invaluable skill in life.
The Company
Just a perfect atmosphere for working really. Lively and cheery with a healthy amount of laughs even though the work being done is quite serious. Always nice to see a smile around the office.
Very well organised. There were various presentations I could attend if I pleased and I felt as if there were a myriad of options available whenever I needed something to do. Some learning events that I could go to too which I found to be very educational.
We had a training day every week, which focused on different aspects every week. I appreciated the effort the company made to develop and improve my skills. This was one of the best aspects of the internship.

Company Parties/Events
Unfortunately, I didn't manage to secure a job but that's not going to stop me from applying to other jobs at the company.
The Culture
There weren't that many events for us to go and socialise, so with a few of my colleagues, I sorted out a get together for all of the interns. Laser tag was in particular a big highlight.
It wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. For my apartment, I didn't have to pay very much, and the bars in the area were also very reasonably priced.
Very enjoyable and colourful. There were many options for us interns at night, mostly clubs and bars, but I didn't spend too much time out at night. But I'll definitely remember the places that I did go to.
I didn't really look for any activities other than the ones at my workplace, but I overheard many of my colleagues talking about badminton and cricket clubs near my work. And of course there was laser tag which I mentioned earlier. But apart from these things, not that much unfortunately.
