The Role
I loved coming into work everyday as the people there were very positive and the work they gave me kept me interested and busy.
My team valued me very highly - like I had always been apart of their unit. They kept telling me how much they would miss me on the last day and it was both inspiring and touching.
My boss gave me various tips and tricks whenever she saw I was struggling at something. Her support helped me secure a job at the end of the internship. There was never a time that I felt that I couldn't ask for help if I needed it.
Occasionally I had to ask for some work, near the end of my placement, as I finished my work quicker than expected, but I had enough work to do to keep me busy and excited.
As my manager started to see the contribution I was making to the team, he began to give me harder assignments and eventually the same level of work my colleagues were doing.
I have developed, improved and learned a great deal from my placement. I can feel that everything from my typing skills to my confidence levels have improved and feel these will help me in the future. My communication skills have also improved quite a bit.
The Company
Pretty noisy usually, but just from the amount of people helping each other with problems. It was never distracting though. I could just put on my headphones and get on with my work quite easily.
I feel as if the placement was arranged perfectly. There were lots of events throughout each day that helped us get used to the job. Many extra presentations that we could go to as well to learn more about the company.
We were offered many different training opportunities that we could take up if we pleased. These were offered to us every week and personally I believe they were very helpful. There was also some online training that we could use if we wanted to.

I got a job with them!
The Culture
We went out for drinks every week just to have a laugh and chat. Other than that there was a fun event, organised by one of the interns, which involved going around all the pubs in the area - I'll never forget that one!
Wow. This was the worst part of the experience. I heard London was expensive but this was something else.
Amazing. Me and some other interns decided to go out at night to a pub and we had a great laugh. It became our regular "go-to" place. Had quite a good laugh in some of the clubs in the area too;.
We could volunteer for lots of things. Mainly sport, and as I'm a very sporty person, I decided to take many of these up. Some of these being the swimming and sprinting competitions.
