The Role
There are a lot of opportunities within the company on various streams. The company is flexible in terms of what interns can do.
Most colleagues are very welcoming and helpful but some ignored my emails and phone calls.
The support is there when I ask for it but I do not ask very often.
Too busy on the second half of the internship.
Quite significant
Very much. I have built up technical knowledge about RR products and developed a more mature mind when making engineering decision.
The Company
People have meetings often therefore a lot of people are not around their desks most of the time. Majority of the people work independently and do not chat or socialise during work.
No laptop until week 6. Luckily a colleague had a spare one that I could use. Another intern had no password nor laptop for 1.5 weeks so he could not get on with his work. I did not get my workers badge until the 4th day of work.
I went on two one day course and I went on a business trip to Isle of Wight, most cost were reimbursed.
