The Role
great team work and lots of experience in different areas.
I built strong relationships with my colleagues and every time I needed help they were there for me.
When I needed help the manager was always there for me and instead of criticizing or shouting when I was doing mistakes she would give me advice and explain my mistakes in the nicest way possible.
It is a very busy environment especially during the summer but I also had days when we did not have many customers which helped me achieve a good balance of both.
For an intern I had many responsibilites which I liked because that taught me much more about the job itself and I like being given much responsibility.
I developed great customer service and my sales skills improved so much more after this internship. I believe the way I look at customers now would help me a lot in my future career. I was shown how a business can be run successfully and I will use this example in my future management jobs.
The Company
the team was very nice and supportive-never had problems.
the internship is very well organised because you have one week orientation before you start the job and this helps you see how you can apply the knowledge into practice.
The internhsip gives you the chance to continue working part time for the company which helps you a lot even when you continue your studies.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
I was told I can go back any time I want.
The Culture
before the internship you get one week of orientation which gives you the chance to meet many new people and future colleagues.
I worked in Dundee which has cheap standards of life in general. It is well located the branch so no problems travelling.
we had nights out so gives you chance to imrpove the team work.
the company offers many charity activities for you to get involved.
