  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed the internship. It was a great opportunity to learn new things and get involved. The breadth of the internship was fantastic with significant exposure.

  • Yes, I feel that I really contributed to the company and was given work of real value.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • This was good, with a dedicated buddy for every intern. They were there to help you learn and guide you during the first few weeks. Otherwise the team were extremely helpful and willing to help where necessary.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was very busy with packed days. The typical day was 12 hours long with a lot of work throughout. It was a great opportunity to have taste of real work life.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • There was significant responsibility given to me and I was the sole analyst on many projects. This was a great chance for me to prove the work that I could do.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Training was fantastic with introductory sessions for each product area. This encompassed a lot of the theory I had learn't at university and allowed me to see the real life applications.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Great vibe and atmosphere, with quite a few social events. There was always banter and fun whilst working.

  • Well set up with an intro and close event. There were also webinars held throughout.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Reasonable amount of training given but could perhaps have been more professionally led course. Admittedly this is difficult to have for a 10 week internship.

  • Possibility of securing a graduate place with them.

  • Many interns within the organisation who were great to socialise with.

  • This was expensive as was in London centre. However with the wage, this was fine.

  • It's London!

  • There were a few social events held during work. Otherwise not too much.
