  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have based my level 3 project around the skills I have developed while working on this internship. The insight in technical documentation will prove to be valuable through the rest of my studies and beyond.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Relax working environment where we were encouraged not to sit around at the desk for long periods of time. I was surprised that such a large open plan office could be so quiet without many distractions. Not to mention there were always cakes and biscuits around to eat.

    4/5

  • Despite a few technical issue along the way the placement was well structured and organised in a way that suited me perfectly.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I have had some positive feed back from the staff that I have been in direct contact with, this could potentially lead onto something in the future.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We had a few social events, both as a large intern group, small groups of intern and inter departmental gathering.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I was able to stay with family so living costs were kept low. Socializing in the area was nice, plenty of choice. However this came at a slightly higher cost to what I would normally pay.

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I didn't haven time during the placement to sample the nightlife, but have heard from other intern that it's a great place to go out.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Depending how much you want to put yourself out there, as there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with work related activities and non work related activities.

    5/5
