The Role
I felt that the internship was very interesting and exciting especially in experiencing working in a corporate environment and finding out what exactly is required in recruitment.
My colleagues were very welcoming and friendly and were appreciative over the work I did for them.
I was given significant support by management for the tasks I was given however sometimes management were sometimes very busy so I felt like a burden to keep on asking questions.
In some departments I was given a lot to do however in other departments I didn't have much to do however this is only because we were in each department for one week so it was hard for me to be given a lot of responsibility
I was given a substantial amount of responsibility in the tasks I was given however as I was in each department for one week it was not enough time for me to learn the ins and outs of each division and therefore it wasn't possible for me to have that much responsibility over projects as I didn't know enough.
I think I have developed skills for life as I learnt how to use some computer systems such as Excel and even how to use shortcuts on the computer. Also, I learnt how to behave in a corporate environment and how they operate.
The Company
I loved the environment of Hays as it was very fast paced and energetic however it was buzzing with hard working, motivated and determined people.
I think some departments were very organised such as internal recruitment which had a Schedule for everything that I was to do for the week. Other departments were abit less organised as the management were often too busy so passed us onto employees who were not too sure about what to do with us.
I think that I was given training to am extent in terms of how to use programmes like Excel and OneTouch.

Future employment prospects are appealing as I would like to come back for future placements.
The Culture
The other interns and I had a very good relationship and often went out for lunch together and occasionally went out after work.
As it was in London, it was quite expensive.
I didn't really go out at night around the area of work however, as it was in the city of London, I assume that the night life will be awesome
There were opportunities to get involved in the sport and netball within Hays
