The Role
really liked the people I worked with and the other interns. Felt looked after by the company.
Very welcome
given complete control of my project and trusted to do it.
good for research and statistics
The Company
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
The internship was branded as an opportunity to gain graduate job, but it became clear that this option was never actually available to the interns. The only chance we really had was to get another interview for another internship and to possibly get funding for a masters. The process we were subsequently expected to undertake involves a lot of risk on our part and although it has not deterred me from persuing a career at the Bank, I would have appreciated being aware of this process before the internship .
The Culture
Apart from some happy hour deals the area was expensive, but that can be expected in central London.
Very enjoyable for younf interns.
