The Role
I found the placement really varied, well structured and enjoyable, working with a fantastic group of knowledgeable and enthusiastic people.
I felt valued every day by members of staff in my team who I knew were relying on me to help them while they were on the road visiting customers.
Working for an SME on your placement allows you maximum contact with your line manager and also with the department director, which I don't believe you get the opportunity to experience elsewhere.
A placement at ProspectSoft is varied and keeps you busy by providing assistance on the phone, assisting the consultants, customer demonstrations and training.
ProspectSoft entrusts you will lots of responsibility; directly engaging with customers from the go whether on the phone, on site meeting or at one of the company's events.
A placement at ProspectSoft helps you to develop transferable skills in not only the application of CRM/software but also customer relations, operations, marketing, meeting customer requirements and teamwork which are invaluable to take back to university and any future career.
The Company
Friendly and relaxed, with everyone willing to help each other out.
4 week training course before entering job role was really structured, thought out and helpful in preparing you for entering your department.
The company invest a great deal of time and effort in training you before you enter your role. Through out the year you are trained in different products and made aware of any changes. Lots of training on and off site with partners.
Company Parties/Events
Recruiting through the placement scheme is one of Prospects main ways of recruitment and a placement is a great opportunity for the company to have a year long job interview with you. If you are offered a job then ProspectSoft make a real effort to find you a suitable role that really plays to your strengths and experience over the year,
The Culture
Everyone is really friendly and approachable. The company does a lot together outside the office and you are quickly encouraged to join in and welcomed.
