The Role
Had the opportunity to work on a number of large projects with lots of variation.
Had a lot of time dedicated whenever I needed it.
Varied throughout the year. Occasional periods of quietness, but would usually be working on several projects any given week.
Learnt lots of business skills relating to big industry, benefited from a much improved sense of professionalism, and gained vast amounts of knowledge. However, would of liked more training on specific areas such as forecasting.
The Company
Good atmosphere with a fairly young team.
The company has had internships in this department for a very long time. As such, have a very organised development program.
People would regularly take time out of their diaries to take me through projects or data sets that I was unsure of. If I was ever unable to complete a task, I would be shown how to do so, as oppose to having it done for me.

The Culture
Approximately 14 students throughout the year. Everyone got on well and would regularly go on nights out, as well as play sport.
On the commuter belt so expensive without the perks of central London.
No nightlife in actual Hoddesdon, but possible to get the train to Central London (less than 30 mins) or go to Hertford, Watford, Hatfield, Shoreditch etc.
Played squash, badminton, cricket, football with a range of full time employees. There was also a netball team. Occasionally, nights out were organised such as comedy nights, dinners out and general socialising activities.
