About You
I found it most enjoyable, especially the dinner with the partners.
PwC made a huge effort, we got a free hoodie, and ice cream!
Both evenings spent chatting with graduates and the partners was very insightful, as well as the sessions when we learnt about each of the various departments within PwC.
We had sessions on "how to make a good first impression" and "networking" which will be important skills for the rest of my life.
The Company
It was a very well structures 3 day assessment centre.
PwC lived up to their reputation as being a very people focused company.
They helped me gain confidence in my presentation skills.
I don't think you can really gauge how hard working life will be from a 3 day assessment centre
The academy was run with PwC culture in mind, it showed it really was a people focused company.
The insights into the different departments of PwC gave me a greater understanding of the different areas and then allowed me to make a more educated choice on which business area I wanted to apply for.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed expenses and put up in a hotel for 3 nights. All food and drink was paid for as well.
Both evenings we had meals with people from the company
Very informative and enjoyable
I am a keen sportswoman and so I asked about these opportunities and there were plenty.
It was a great thing to do at the end of your first year of university so that you could secure a placement or internship for the following year before you went back for second year.
