The Role
Internship overall was great! Lovely team and working atmosphere. Great support for development too!
Colleagues relied on me heavily on some tasks therefore, through this relationship of completing tasks and using it as a means of communicating, a lot of lasting relationships were built.
Guidance was always there when needed, support was given on any topic that I had questions about. Overall great support and help given!
My time management skills came into play here, since I had 2 job roles therefore I was usually very busy.
I was given a lot of responsibility, but this was based on the trust that I was able to handle the additional workload so there was a two way interaction for taking on more work- which was always available!
I am yet to go back to university with my newly developed skills but, undoubtedly, my time management, Prioritisation and problem solving and analytical abilities have improved massively which will definitely help my final year at university!
The Company
A good balance between working and having some very close colleagues where you could talk about personal topics etc. Atmosphere was great! When time to work, the team came and supported on another which made it so much easier to achieve time deadlines!
Very well organised, support network was there from day one. Tasks were also delegated from the off-set which continued throughout!
Always had an ability to ask senior managers to assist with some area of my personal development. Was also encouraged to take advantage of all the development opportunities which rose- I.e. New projects, taking on new tasks etc.

A great level of opportunities available for development and growth within the organisation!
The Culture
All other placement students were very lovely/great bunch of individuals to go for a meal with - which were very often organised!
Average. Rent 300-500 a month, food shopping amounts dependent on the individual!
Not great, Chichester is pretty quiet for nights out.
Many activities were available to do outside of work such as clay pigeon shooting, canal boat trips, cycling routes along the canals!
